Autumn 2025

As the leaves turn golden and the mornings take on a gentle chill, our team has today completed one of the most exciting times of year — harvest!… and 2025’s crop is rather a special one.

A Bumper Harvest

This summer’s warm weather and deep-rooted vines have rewarded us with an exceptional crop. While many farmers struggled with the lack of rain, our vines thrived, drawing moisture from far beneath the soil. Sugar levels are much higher than in previous years, and fruit quality is fantastic. Notably, this year’s harvest has taken place almost a month earlier than usual. As the last grapes were handpicked today, our total crop weighed in at over 56 tonnes. We’re expecting approximately 50 thousand bottles of the most exquisite wines from this remarkable crop.

A Pause to Collect Prizes

Not only did September bring the start of an early harvest; It also surprised us with an additional trophy to add to our incredible collection! Our Sparkling Seyval Blanc was awarded the trophy for Best English Seyval, and also unexpectedly, the Best Wine in First Year of Production by the judges at the International Wine Challenge. Peter Cooke and Simon Day attended a cracking awards ceremony at the London Guildhall to collect Kingsthorne’s trophies.

Looking Ahead

Over the coming months, the vines will begin their winter rest while we stay busy nurturing the wines from this year’s crop. Keep an eye on your inbox if you’re on our mailing list — we’ll be announcing Christmas shopping incentives and new wine releases very soon, just in time for festive celebrations.

A Warm Welcome

We look forward to welcoming Lois Barnes to our team. Lois will begin work with the small and dedicated team at our vineyard, later this month.
