A combination of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes from our Longney and Flaxley vineyards. Delicate handling with short skin contact time yields a deliciously pale rosé colour, with a warm copper hue.
The wine opens up in the glass with delicate aromas of strawberry, peach and just a hint of passion fruit, which follow onto the fruity palate.
Dry, yet with a balanced acidity leaves a long finish.
Begging to be sipped, perfectly chilled in the warm summer evening light, but we find it is equally at enjoyable in the depths of winter in front of a roaring fire, where we can only imagine the sun’s warmth on our face!
This wine goes so well with grilled salmon; prawns or other shellfish simply cooked. Also a perfect foil to avocado or feta salads, or try it with a bowl of fresh strawberries.
