Having entered our first round of national and international wine competitions at the start of this year, we’ve been waiting with bated breath for the results. To say we’re over-the-moon is an understatement!
During mid-May we received the news that our Sparkling Seyval Blanc 2017 had been awarded a gold medal, and the coveted trophy for the Best English Sparkling Wine! In accompaniment, we also received bronze medals for our Still Rosé 2023, Chardonnay 2023 and Sparkling Rosé 2019.
Still reeling from our first International competition results, we settled back in our chairs for further news. We weren’t disappointed! The Independent English Wine Awards provided us with a sneak preview of their judges decisions two weeks ago. Another gold for Kingsthorne!! This time our Still Rosé 2023 brought home the gold medal, together with a silver for the Seyval Blanc 2017 sparkling, and bronze medals for the Sparkling Rosé 2020, Solaris 2023, Chardonnay 2023 and Pinot Noir Early 2021!
